Through out years of guiding I have met a lot of great fisherman. I would consistently have requests from clients and friends to supply them with some of the patterns I used on the river. That grew into friends and clients calling to ask for specific patterns when they travelled to other parts of the world to chase fish. Feral Flies was built. I spend a lot of time on the vise working on new patterns and also tying some of my favorite flies. Whether they are size 2/0 Tarpon flies or size #22 trout midges, I tie them all. What I offer on the site are my favorite patterns and some original flies. If you have an idea or a special request for a target species let me know and I will gather the materials to build the flies, to fill your box, to catch you fish.
